Rosemary Cottage
Situated in the small village of Longmeadow on the edge of the fens and next to Anglesey Abbey a National Trust stately home, 7 miles north of Cambridge City Centre. Click here to see a map.
It was originally two cottages built around 1740 though parts are even older. It's detached with three bedrooms (one with onsuite bathroom) a kitchen, two living rooms, a dining room, a laundry and a study. There's also a second toilet and shower room downstairs. The garden is landscaped in a traditional English country cottage style with an orchard providing peaceful seating areas.
The building looks onto a small road with very little traffic and no facing buildings so has lovely, calm, open views both front and back. There's charming local walks with traditional pubs, there's also a regular bus service to Cambridge (10 minute journey).
